Outpatient Behavioral Health Counseling

Description of service provided:
Using a variety of treatment models and techniques, counseling/therapy is provided to individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages to alleviate the symptoms of mental illness or restore previous levels of functioning.  Treatment options include; counseling/therapy, medication monitoring, and management through a psychiatric nurse and psychiatrist, and/or crisis services.

Potter, Cameron & Elk counties

Admission Criteria:
Needed services are determined after a face-to-face appointment with a clinician to address presenting problem areas, as well as past personal history.

How to Access Service:
Services are most commonly accessed through phone contact with the office, by the intended client.  Crisis services, for emergent care needs, can be accessed Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.

How Individuals Pay for the Service:
Services are billed through Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance or based on a sliding fee scale based on household income.
