Workforce Solutions' Appalachian Regional Commission Prosper Project hosted a Recovery & Hiring Expo at the Red Fern in Kersey on September 13, 2023. This event was open to employers of all industries and job seekers representing Cameron, Elk, Clearfield, Jefferson, McKean and Potter counties. Presentations were held to encourage employers to hire employees in recovery and to sharethe benefits for the employer and the employee in recovery. There were several booths with employers seeking candidates including Dickinson Center, Inc. This was a great opportunity to discuss positions available with job seekers.
